InLoox Integration: Microsoft 365

Developed for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office 

  • 100% compatibility: Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) is the standard office suite for desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones. We ensure that InLoox is always fully compatible with the latest Microsoft 365 version. In addition, with your Microsoft 365 Business account, you can simply log on to InLoox with the same authentication - so it's easy and uncomplicated to get started. 
  • Central platform: With InLoox, all stakeholders can collaborate at all stages on a single platform. Thereby, InLoox for Outlook plays an essential role, but you can also connect with Power BI or automate workflows between InLoox and Outlook via Power Automate. These are just a few examples - our goal is to enable users to work with InLoox across the entire Microsoft 365 suite.

InLoox Integration: Microsoft OneDrive for Business


InLoox also has an interface to Microsoft OneDrive for Business. The big advantage of the integration: You can map your familiar document structure directly in InLoox. As soon as documents of folders are updated, InLoox synchronizes the changes.

Integrations related to contact management &
resource management

  • Exchange Online: InLoox synchronizes the address book with your company-wide Exchange Online address book. This way, you can use your Exchange contacts for general resource management and add them as resources to project tasks, for example.
  • Exchange Calendar: InLoox can access your appointments in your Outlook calendar. This enables efficient time tracking, as you can quickly and easily book your calendar appointments as time tracking entries on projects via drag and drop - without having to leave InLoox Web App.
  • Active Directory: You can log in directly with your Active Directory account in InLoox (only InLoox OnPrem). This way, you don't have to remember a separate password for InLoox and additionally increase security by eliminating an access path.

Data hosting 100% GDPR compliant

  • Azure: The SaaS solution InLoox is based on Microsoft Azure Germany. Users access InLoox as a virtual project management platform and thus avoid the effort required to operate their own server infrastructure. Project data is stored in datacenters in Germany and complies 100% with GDPR regulations. 
  • SQL Server: InLoox On-Prem is designed for Microsoft SQL Server. It provides the basis for the best performance of InLoox. InLoox is compatible with SQL Server 2016 or higher.
  • Internet Information Server (IIS): The Internet Information Services is a web server from Microsoft that runs on Windows systems. It allows you to share and deliver InLoox project information across your local area networks (intranet) and wide area networks (internet).

Conveniently install InLoox company-wide

  • Windows Server: The Windows Server is an operating system for servers which acts as a domain controller. It allows you to connect desktops to a shared network and you can use it as a terminal server to install and manage InLoox on remotely. InLoox is compatible with Windows Server 2012 R2 or higher. 
  • Remote Desktop Services (RDS): With the Windows Remote Desktop Services (formerly known as Terminal Services) you can make InLoox available on several workstations at the same time. This has the advantage that InLoox only has to be installed once on the central terminal server and can then be managed remotely.
